Speak Mandarin Campaign 2009
March 30, 2009Seeing the 2009 Speak Mandarin Campaign advertisement this year, where non-Chinese speak in almost perfect pronunciation, enunciation and dictation, it really made me reflect on my own grasp of the language.
In its 30th year, it is the 1st in recent years that actually got me impressed. Previous years were mostly just having local “Mandopop” (Mandarin Pop) singers front the campaign, a boring and cliche tactic of my different industries.
