Moving of Blog and Essay Here

Finally, I’ve moved. Officially.

After settling issues with the DNS services, hosting. etc., the website is finally up and running, with one problem: the slide show on the homepage doesn’t display properly on Internet Explorer 6 (IE6).

Having problems with IE6 wasn’t unexpected. It had one of the most “buggy” rendering engine. Thankfully Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) didn’t inherit that in entirety.

I guess I’ll need sometime to iron the bugs out. For now, I’ve taken a little drastic measures with regards to IE6, taking out some areas of the website. Moreover, I’ve used some proposed CSS3 properties which, for now, Mozilla users will be able to see it.

Besides the issues, I’ve left my old blog relatively untouched. I didn’t want to break the permanent post links. The only change I made was to move the essays that I have posted over here also. For the next few days, I will be re-linking the essays to their new posts here. I’ve kept the original date structure though.
