ElegantThemes (a premium theme developer) have partnered up with WpRecipes.com (a great WordPress news and resource) to giveaway 2 ElegantThemes subscription!
The need for options
One problem theme developers always meet is issue of how to allow theme users to configure the theme to their own style and preference easily. A common solution is to include an options page within the WordPress admin user interface which users can easily access. Almost all current premium themes include an options page.

Taking the expectations of option pages to a whole new level, just a screenshot of ElegantTheme’s ePanel was enough to blog me away…
I am sure this is a step forward in WordPress theme development, and something which WordPress theme developers should consider putting effort into. I do acknowledge that more effort is put into the front-end UI of websites. However, probably it is time to think of the back-end of plugins as well. (Myself included….)
