AHM Training 2009

I just finished my 9KM run yesterday at East Coast Park yesterday. It was relatively uneventful except one incident which I thought was quite funny…

Along the running route, there was a shed which some girls sat. One girl was shouting “jiayou!” every time our guys passed…

Girl (On seeing Group of Guys run pass): “Jiayou!”….

Group of Guys ignores

Girl: (On seeing a Guy run pass): “Jiayou!”

Guy ignores

Girl (turns to her friends): “Why everyone ignore me???”…. she decides to try again….

At this juncture, a few others and I ran past and subsequently ignored her as well… and then I heard…

Girl (to her friends again): “See! Why no one cares??  Why am I being ignored!?”

It was quite funny upon hearing that at that point. I really wonder how many more people ignored that poor girl… I heard from some others that they saw the same thing.. Wonder how long she was doing it. Kudos to her.

Anyway, aching all over the place now. Still have my IPPT to take next week and a Marathon on the 16th of August. Hopefully will recover by then.
